Our teams provide care and support for individuals with different conditions at Priory sites all across the UK.

It would be ideal if you have previous experience gained in a similar role. However whilst this is valuable, we are looking for individuals who display the right values and behaviours in order to make a difference to people's lives. You should be confident and upbeat, keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people we support. Not only is full training provided, but there are numerous career pathways available to you, including our Nurse Apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and personal care
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed clothes
  • Assistance and support to attend medical appointments
  • Observe, monitor, and record physical and emotional well-being, and quickly report any changes to senior staff
  • Encouragement to participate in social and recreational activities

St Michaels is located in the village of Temple Ewell, near Dover, Kent. The residential service supports five adults, who are autistic or have a learning disability. We are in a semi-rural location, off a main road. Our team are dedicated to supporting the people we care for to maximise their potential and work towards reducing the restrictions that they currently have in place. We want to help them to maximise their independence and support them on their long transitional pathway towards living in their own home in the community.
