Care Dorset Ltd in Weymouth is recruiting a Support Worker for our Transition Services, supporting young adults moving from family homes into their own accommodation. You will provide person-centred daily living support, helping with meals, shopping, budgeting and developing independence.

This role will form part of our established Supported Living Transition services,which supports young adults with a learning disability and/or autism who aremoving from the family home into their own accommodation. The service focuseson enabling individuals to develop the skills, confidence and resiliencerequired to live as independently as possible.
Support works provide person-centred support across all aspects of dailyliving. This includes developing practical life skills such as meal planning,shopping and cooking, as well as supporting individuals to understand financesand budgeting. The role also involves providing emotional support and guidanceto help individuals navigate the challenges and transitions associated with increasedindependence.
About you:
Previous experience as a support worker or in a similar role is preferred but not essential as training and ongoing support will be provided.
