Job summary

Rehability UK Support Services Ltd in the Harborough area is seeking dedicated Support Workers to help adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs lead fuller lives.

You will engage in meaningful activities, assist with daily living, accompany clients to appointments, and support community participation. A driver is preferred; training is provided, and progression opportunities are available.

This role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centred care and flexible availability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with complex needs, or Mental Health, Autism or Learning Disability, as per service requirement
• Male or Female as per service requirement, and ideally a driver
• Willingness to learn

• Helping people we support to engage in meaningful opportunities and activities - empowering them to enjoy a great life filled with unforgettable experiences.
• Getting involved in support in the community as social activities or shopping trips.
• Ability to communicate is essential, considering individual communication needs, and helping people communicate effectively with others.
• Assisting with Personal care and hygiene (if required)
• Medication administration (if required)
• Support with preparing and cooking meals. Cleaning, shopping, planning daily activities
• Support with attending medical appointments
• Support with social activities
