Support Worker – The Wilf Ward Family Trust

Salary £12.41 per hour with additional pay for weekend work

Location: Scarborough, North Yorkshire

What will your day look like?

Our core mission is to enhance the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs through collaboration, compassion, and understanding. No two days are the same; some days are calm, others are busy. You may need to manage appointments, which makes the role interesting and satisfying. Daily tasks include:

  • Supporting social activities and community engagement.
  • Providing physical support, personal care, and household assistance.
  • Assisting with life skills such as shopping and money management.
  • Implementing individual support plans.

No experience is necessary—we provide full training to equip you with the skills needed to excel as a Support Worker. We value qualities such as kindness, compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference.

Please note that it is a criminal offence for individuals barred from working with vulnerable groups under the Safeguarding and Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 to apply for roles involving unsupervised work with such groups.
