Job summary

Prospero Health & Social Care is actively recruiting Support Workers to cover Swindon and Wiltshire. Roles include caring for children, young people, families and adults with various needs.

You can choose from full-time, part-time and flexible agency shifts, with early mornings, evenings and weekends available. You will provide person-centred care, support independence and help clients access the local community.

Qualifications

• At least one year's UK experience in health and social care.
• Experience supporting children, young people or adults.
• A compassionate, patient and reliable approach.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• An understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred.

About the Support Worker role

As a Support Worker, you'll provide person-centred care and support to people with a range of needs. Depending on your experience and the placement, you could work with children, young people, families or adults.

Your work may involve helping someone feel safe and supported, develop their independence, take part in activities and access their local community. We'll discuss your experience and preferences with you when considering suitable opportunities.
