Job summary

A staffing agency is seeking a Support Worker in Leyland to assist adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities. Candidates should hold a Level 3 diploma in health and social care and have experience supporting individuals with additional needs. Pay Rate: £25,820 – £26,070 per annum (inclusive of sleeps ins) – dependent upon experience
Shift patterns:Mixture of earlies, lates and sleep ins.

Liquid Personnel has exciting opportunities for experienced support workers to join a fantastic, supported living service for adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities in Manchester, for its client based in Leyland, Lancashire.

What will your responsibilities be?

As the Support Worker you will support the team leader in in ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered. You will regularly complete risk assessments, keep records up to date with. You will be providingphysical support which may include helping with household tasks and personal care, Provide emotional support for an individual and their families. In addition, Supporting and helping with health care needs, including routine checks or administrating medication.You will teachlife skills, such as shopping, using public transport and paying for bills.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

  • A Level 3 diploma in Health and Social care or equivalent

  • Flexibility to work evenings and alternate weekends is essential.
