Job description

Kingsmead Cluster comprises three houses located in Lambeth, providing a 24-hour specialist accommodation-based supported living service for adults aged 18-65, predominantly over 55 years, with diagnosed mental illnesses and/or primary mental health needs, including a range of dual needs impacting well-being, support needs, and risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Service Users to maintain good mental health and maximize recovery outcomes to sustain independent lives through culturally appropriate, person-led service provision.
  • Assist Service Users in preventing tenancy breakdown and loss of accommodation, promoting integration into their communities.
  • Collaborate with relevant agencies, particularly Living Well Centres (LWCs) and other mental health professionals.
  • Create an environment where all individuals, regardless of the nine protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010, feel safe, secure, and protected from avoidable harm.
  • Promote independence and enable Service Users to live as independently as possible.
