Job summary

Autism Initiatives is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in the United Kingdom. You will help autistic individuals to live independently, participate in community activities, and maintain their homes with person-centered support.

We value willingness to learn; training is provided, and a Diploma Level 2 qualification is supported. You will work with a friendly team, enjoy progression opportunities, DBS paid, and generous leave, as part of our commitment to staff well-being.

Who we are looking for

As a Support Worker, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and will enjoy joining a dynamic team that encourages people with autism to enjoy an active lifestyle. Community activities could include swimming, accessing walking groups or trips to the cinema. You will also promote health and well-being and support individuals to maintain their home. The support we deliver is flexible and unique to each individual, building on their strengths and driven by their goals.

We are looking for people who share and demonstrate our values. You may have a background or understanding of supporting autistic people, but if not don’t worry, we have great training and a friendly team to support you every step of the way.
