Job summary

Scottish Borders Council is seeking a Support Worker for Saltgreens Residential Home in Eyemouth. This permanent role offers 21.75 hours per week with a salary of £14.37–£15.10 per hour and pro rata annual pay of £27,739.05–£29,147.42. PVG Adults check and SSSC registration are required, with all training provided.

The rota includes varied shifts, with weekend coverage, and the job emphasises independence, rights and dignity. Desirable SVQ2 or equivalent.

  • Be responsible for the safe administration of Service Users' medication, following relevant training.

Qualifications: SVQ2 or equivalent is desirable but not essential. You can earn whilst you learn!

Training: All training is provided.

Requirements: PVG Adults - we will do this for you! SSSC registered.

Rota

Week One: Friday 2pm-10pm, Saturday 2pm-10pm, Sunday 8am-4pm

Week Two: Friday 2pm-10pm, Saturday 3pm-10pm, Sunday 2.30pm-10pm
