Job summary

HRM Homecare Services is seeking compassionate Support Workers to join our team in Rutherglen/Cambuslang. The role involves providing essential care in clients' own homes, promoting independence, dignity and quality of life.

Full training will be provided; a PVG check is required. Mileage is offered, with shift patterns including weekends. Part-time or full-time shifts available to support the community in Glasgow area.

Requirements

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and medication support.
• Support clients to engage in meaningful activities and community involvement.
• Maintain accurate records and report any changes in clients' needs or well-being.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure coordinated care delivery.
• Promote a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
• Previous experience in a support or care role is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards clients.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Flexible approach to working hours, including availability for some weekends and evenings.
