Job summary

Nurseplus is seeking an experienced Support Worker to work across residential services in Lowestoft. As a temporary Health Care Worker you will provide high-quality care, assisting with personal care, mobility, nutrition and hydration while engaging residents in activities.

Choose shifts that suit you—days, nights, weekends—with weekly pay and competitive hourly rates (£12.85–£18.40). We offer industry-leading training, ongoing development, and the Workwise app to manage your schedule.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months UK care experience.
  • Must be 18 years or over and eligible to work in the UK.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Support with moving and handling and mobility needs.
  • Assist with nutrition, hydration and continence management.
  • Engage clients in activities of their choice and provide companionship.

What You'll Be Doing:

We are looking for experienced Support Worker / Carers to work across various residential services in Lowestoft.

Duties can include but are not limited to assisting clients with personal care, moving and handling, supporting with nutrition, hydration and continence needs alongside spending time participating in activities of the clients choice.

What We’re Looking For
  • You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
  • A MINIMUM of 6 months UK care experience.
  • Flexibility in your availability, with the ability to travel to different care settings.
  • A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.
