Job summary

Nurseplus is seeking Support Worker/Carer for Learning Disability and Elderly Residential settings in Great Yarmouth and nearby areas. You will help with personal care, mobility, nutrition, hydration, and activities, working across multiple residential services.

You must be 18+, have at least 6 months UK care experience, and have the right to work in the UK. Weekly pay with competitive hourly rates (£12.85–£18.40), flexible shifts (days/nights/weekends), and access to training and development

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months UK care experience.
  • Must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
  • Good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care, moving and handling, and nutrition/hydration needs.
  • Support with continence needs and daily living activities.
  • Engage clients in activities of their choice to promote wellbeing.

Support Worker / Carer - Learning Disability Residential / Elderly Residential
What You’ll Be Doing:

We are looking for experienced Support Worker / Carers to work across various residential services in Great Yarmouth and the surrounding areas including but not restricted to Hemsby, Ormesby and Gorleston-On-Sea.
Duties can include but are not limited to assisting clients with personal care, moving and handling, supporting with nutrition, hydration and continence needs alongside spending time participating in activities of the clients choice.

What We’re Looking For
  • You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.

  • A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.
