Job summary

Kingsley Specialist Services is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our focused team in caring for residents with learning disabilities. You will help with personal care, promote independence, and uphold dignity at all times within a warm, homely environment.

Working within a Positive Behaviour Support framework, you will support residents to live meaningful lives, collaborate with nurses and senior staff to maintain high care standards, and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Caring and patient nature.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Carer experience preferred but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the personal care needs of residents while respecting dignity and promoting independence.
• Ensure care services are consistently of high standard.
• Perform other general day-to-day activities in the home.
• Report to Nurse/Senior Support Worker.
