Kingsley Specialist Services provides support for people with learning disabilities and complex needs, applying the positive behaviour support (PBS) model of care to empower residents to live meaningful lives. The Senior Support Worker leads the care team, oversees supervision, and contributes to care planning within a person-centred, independence-promoting setting.

Reports to Home Manager/Deputy Manager/Nurse; driving licence preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• You will have, or be working towards, NVQ3 in Health & Social Care.
• Experience in a senior care role is required or desirable.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents.
• Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals of staff.
• Contribute to care planning and coaching of support workers.
