Job summary

Kingsley Specialist Services seeks a compassionate Support Worker to help maintain the personal care needs of residents, preserving dignity and promoting independence within a supportive team.

The role uses the positive behaviour support (PBS) model to guide care, ensuring person-centred responses and a calm, respectful environment. Driving licence is preferred but not essential.

There are ample opportunities to learn and develop within our home, with a focus on consistent high standards of care.

Qualifications

• A caring and patient nature.
• Excellent communication skills.
• The ability to work well under pressure.
• Previous experience as a carer is preferred, but not essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence is preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the personal care needs of residents with dignity and independence.
• Support residents and work as part of a focused team.
• Help in day-to-day activities within the home.
• Follow PBS model of care to promote person-centred care and inclusion.
