Job summary

Kingsley Specialist Services in the UK is seeking a Senior Support Worker to join the care team and lead daily resident support, supervising staff and contributing to care planning.

With PBS at the core, you will promote dignity, independence and person-centred care, conduct formal supervisions, and coach colleagues to deliver high-quality support for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior care role.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Empathetic and caring nature.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents.
• Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals.
• Contribute to care planning and coaching support workers.
• Maintain the personal care needs of residents with dignity and promoting independence.
• Apply PBS (positive behaviour support) in all care delivered.
