Autism Initiatives is seeking a committed Support Worker to join our team in delivering person-centred care for autistic individuals. You will help people to be as independent as possible in their own homes, enable participation in community activities, and support health, wellbeing and social engagement aligned with each person’s goals.
The role offers full training, a Diploma Level 2 pathway, progression opportunities, and extensive staff benefits.
£26,485.76 per annum based on a 39-hour working week

As a Support Worker, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and will enjoy joining a dynamic team that encourages people with autism to enjoy an active lifestyle. Community activities could include swimming, accessing walking groups or trips to the cinema. You will also promote health and well-being and support individuals to maintain their home. The support we deliver is flexible and unique to each individual, building on their strengths and driven by their goals.
We are looking for people who share and demonstrate our values. You may have a background or understanding of supporting autistic people, but if not don’t worry, we have great training and a friendly team to support you every step of the way.
