Job summary

Cygnet is hiring a Care & Support Worker for Dene Brook in Rotherham. The role is 24 hours per week, days only, with 12-hour shifts across two days to suit service needs. You’ll provide person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism or complex needs in a residential setting.

Salary starts at £13.15 per hour, rising to £13.45 after three months and £13.70 after 18 months. DBS checks are required, with opportunities for development and wellbeing perks included.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all individuals in our care
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with and report on medical and welfare needs
• Safeguard we operate safely and ethically
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all

We are looking for a confident Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding healthcare.

You’ll be working part time, days only, 24 hours per week (12 hour shifts, 2 shifts per week to suit the needs of the service) making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Dene Brook.

Dene Brook is a specialist residential service in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, supporting people with learning disabilities, complex needs, autism and behaviours that may challenge.
