Join Our Team as a Support Worker in Telford!

Position: Part-time (15-30 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £12.31/ £13.54 per hour (Rate is subject to complex support)
Location: Telford, TF2 (Just a 7 min drive from Oakengates Train Station)
Requirements: A Full UK Driving Licence & Previous Experience

About the Role

We support individuals with learning disabilities and autism to live independently across multiple supported living properties in Telford. Our residents enjoy active and social lifestyles, and we’re looking for outgoing, energetic support workers who can match their enthusiasm.

What Will You Be Doing?

  1. Providing person-centred support to help individuals achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
  2. Assisting with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication, shopping, and household chores.
  3. Encouraging and supporting active lifestyles, including activities like walks, gym sessions, swimming, and community outings. Confidence in the water is essential.
  4. Following structured routines to maintain well-being and providing emotional reassurance during behaviours of distress.
  5. Receiving full Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) & PROACT-SCIPr training to help you excel in this role.

Shift Patterns

  • Day Shifts: 7:30 am - 3:00 pm
  • Evening Shifts: 3:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
  • Active and outgoing personality, able to engage in physical activities.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence, meeting Motability driving requirements.

Rotas are provided in advance to ensure a healthy work-life balance. This role will involve 2:1 support.
