Job summary

CrossReach is seeking a Support Worker to help people live with dignity, comfort and independence in Scotland. You will support with daily living, meals, household tasks and community activities, while keeping records and contributing to care plans.

The role includes early, late, weekend and sleepover shifts as part of a rota. The successful candidate will value kindness, reliability and respect, and be willing to learn.

Qualifications

• You do not need care experience.
• Willing to work towards SVQ Level 3 with support.
• Must be able to work within CrossReach’s Christian ethos.
• PVG Scheme and SSSC registration are required.

About You

You are kind, reliable and respectful. You listen well and treat every person as an individual.

You do not need care experience. What matters most is your values and willingness to learn. Ideally, you will hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare, or be willing to work towards it with our support.

You will be happy to work in a way that reflects CrossReach’s Christian ethos.
