Job summary

Cygnet Health Care's Kirkside House is seeking a Support Worker to provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. The role involves 12-hour day shifts on a full-time basis, with an alternating weekend rota to cover needs and ensure continuity of care.

The post requires a male worker due to a genuine occupational requirement, and an enhanced DBS check is essential. You will help residents build independence and engage with the local community.

Job description

Support Worker post at Kirkside House, a Cygnet Health Care residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, some of whom display behaviours that challenge. The work centres on person-centred daily support, helping residents build independence, learn practical skills and get out into the community. Men only, under a genuine occupational requirement; the role is full time on 12-hour day shifts with alternate weekends on a two-week rolling rota. An enhanced DBS check is required.
