Job summary

Active Care Group in Liskeard is seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to assist a male client living with an acquired brain injury. You will provide daytime support, help with personal care, transfers, and daily activities in a wheelchair-accessible home.

He enjoys attending concerts whenever possible and has a busy, fulfilling social life, regularly attending art and music clubs throughout the week. He also loves spending time in the garden, getting out and about in his van and enjoying new experiences.We are looking for friendly, caring and enthusiastic **male or female support workers who are confident drivers**. Someone who shares his love of music, enjoys a good chat and has a positive, relaxed approach would be a fantastic match!**Where you'll be working:****9am – 9am (Day Shift and Sleep-In)**You'll work a 24-hour shift, providing daytime support followed by a sleep-in and assistance with his morning routine.Your shift will be structured as follows:* **9am – 11pm:** Waking hours, supporting with daily routines, personal care, social activities and getting out and about.* **11pm – 7am:** Sleep-in shift* **7am – 9am:** Morning support, assisting with personal care and getting ready for the day aheadIn this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance.
