Ark Care Homes in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Support Worker (Days) to help younger adults with complex needs and challenging behaviours live happier, more independent lives. You will join a team that values empathy, teamwork and person-centred care, with flexible shifts and full induction.

The role offers paid annual leave, ongoing training from day one, and enhanced pay on Bank Holidays, alongside a pension and staff discounts.

Formación

• Experience in Working in a care home or supporting people with Autism, Learning Disabilities or Mental Health Difficulties is desirable, but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Assist younger adults with complex needs and behaviours to live happy, settled lives in their home environment.
• Work as part of a team and empathise with clients to understand their world.
• Follow care plans, risk assessments and behaviour support plans with problem-solving when needed.
• Paid monthly salary into your bank and guaranteed hours when applicable.

Support Worker Role

You will be helping younger adults with complex needs and behaviours which may challenge to be happy and settled within their home environment.

If you are a caring, motivated person, able to work as part of a team and have the ability to empathise with our clients and see the world through their eyes then we would like you to apply.

We operate a variety of shift patterns , so please talk to us about what would suit your home / work life balance and we will see what we can do.

There are care plans, risk assessments and behaviour support plans in place to help you in your role. An ability to problem solve and think outside the box is always welcomed.

You will be paid Monthly into your bank.

Paid training is provided and support is available at all times.

Bank holidays are paid at a higher rate.

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Alternate weekend

• This role requires you to attend Mandatory training (First Aid & Nappi) which will be held during the week (Monday to Friday 0930-1600) are you able to attend?
