Job summary

Northumberland Supported Living Service (Sea Lodge) is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for a part-time 16-hour role to support two adults with learning disabilities. Duties include activities, personal care, medication administration and community access.

Shifts include day 07:45–20:15 and night 20:00–08:00 on a rotational basis. NVQ Level 2 in health and social care is preferred; full details are in the attached job description. Join a supportive, friendly team at Sea Lodge.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 in health and social care or equivalent preferable.
• Experience in a care setting, ideally with learning disability and behaviours of concern.

Responsibilities

• Engage service users in activities and provide personal care.
• Assist with household duties and admin of medication.
• Support service users to access the community and participate in activities.
