Agincare is hiring a dedicated Support Worker to assist individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex needs in a 7-bungalow supported living setting near Devizes, Wiltshire. The role includes personal care and daily living support to promote independence and community participation.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work.
• Encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.
• Supporting Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.
• Communicating -effectively communicate using peoples chosen methods
• Engaging - promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life
• Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches
• Recording -keeping accurate records & reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management
• Team player Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
