Snap Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Oxshott (KT22). You will assist a young girl with cerebral palsy, dystonia, epilepsy and other complex needs during fixed after-school and weekend slots. Training is provided for hoists and related equipment.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient care in a home setting, with some ad-hoc shifts arranged in advance. A driver is strongly preferred, and family pets include one cat.

Competenze

• Professional childcare experience.
• Experience supporting a young girl with physical disabilities and using hoists (training provided).
• Desirable: complex needs care incl. epilepsy, dystonia, PEG feeding, suctioning, chest physio, AAC/Eye Gaze communication.

Support Worker, Oxshott, KT22. Up to £20.00 Gross per Hour | Rewarding opportunity supporting an engaging and fun-loving little girl, with cerebral palsy, dystonia, epilepsy and complex needs.

Key Information

• Job Title: Support Worker
• Pay: £18.00 gross per hour weekdays | £20.00 gross per hour weekends
• Location: Oxshott, KT22
• Hours and Days of Work: Wednesday and Thursday, 02:00 PM to 08:00 PM; Sunday, 03:30 PM to 08:00 PM. Additional ad hoc shifts may be required, which will be agreed upon in advance.
• Essential Experience: Professional childcare experience. Confident supporting a young girl with physical disabilities and using equipment such as hoists (training provided).
• Desirable: Supporting children with additional or complex needs; suctioning, chest physio, PEG feeding, epilepsy, dystonia, postural management, medication administration, and AAC/Eye Gaze communication
• Driver Required: Strongly preferred
• Family Pets: One cat
• Facilities: Carer’s office; kettle, coffee machine, microwave and snack fridge!

Lily, 6, is a determined and affectionate little girl. She enjoys cuddles, bubbles, swimming and switch toys. She has cerebral palsy with dystonia, epilepsy, respiratory vulnerabilities, and visual and hearing impairments. A calm, patient Support Worker will help her enjoy activities and develop independence.
