Aberdeen City Council is recruiting care staff to provide high-quality, person-centred care across a range of settings including service users' own homes. You will work as part of a team to support carers and to promote the wellbeing, independence and dignity of those you support.
Part-time, back-shift posts are available at Kingswood Court and other locations in Aberdeen. A PVG membership and SSSC registration are required, with driving licence recommended for some posts.

Roles that require PVG Membership
Please note that with effect from 1 April 2023, where a role requires PVG membership, candidates will be required to meet the cost of the PVG membership. This applies only to roles with a full time equivalent salary of £30,000 and above. (Teaching roles and jobs at Grade 10 and above (currently £30,030 per annum / £16.50 per hour)
The Council will pay for the PVG membership cost initially, either £18 for existing PVG scheme members, or £59 for non-members, and this cost will be deducted from an employee's first FULL month's salary payment.
Job purpose/about the role
Throughout Aberdeen city you will provide a high standard of person centred care and support for service users in a range of accommodation settings, including their own homes. You will work as part of a team to support carers and to enable service users to maintain and develop their potential and contribute to their social, physical and mental wellbeing.
Part time permanent posts available. All posts are back shift. 2 x 21 hours per week 1 x 18 hours per week Vacancies are at the following locations - Kingswood Court, Invercauld Road, Aberdeen, AB16 5RX
