Job summary

Keys Group seeks a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults with brain injuries at Isfryn, Ystradgynlais. You will provide day-to-day support, promote independence, and help with activities in the community, including shopping, cinema visits, and church outings.

The role runs 35 hours per week with a pay rate of £13.45–£14.15 per hour. A Full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential; DBS checks are supported. A rewarding environment with opportunities for growth and on-going training.

  • Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
  • Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.

ROLE: Support Worker

LOCATION: Isfryn, Ystradgnlais (SA9)

SALARY: £13.45 - £14.15* per hour

HOURS: 35 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS: Full UK Manual Driving License - essential

Isfryn is situated in between the village Ystylafera and the town of Ystradgynlais, in the beautiful Swansea valleys. There are 8 people living at Isfryn. Each person has a brain injury, and some have a secondary mental health diagnosis. Isfryn is mostly a calm environment although it can be busy. Staff state it is a rewarding place to work. We need staff who will support the people here with their personal daily needs and activities. People like to go out into the community to do various things like attending church, the cinema, visit the pub, café and shopping!

As a Support Worker, You Will Be Involved In The Day To Day Support And Routine Of The People Within The Service Including

  • Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
