Job summary

Dimensions is recruiting for a Support Worker to help four people in their home in Barnsley. The role is on-site, full-time, permanent, with shifts including mornings, afternoons and sleep-in nights, and requires a caring, patient approach and a willingness to learn.

You will provide person-centred support for those with complex needs and help individuals participate in daily activities, ensuring safety and wellbeing while respecting dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required beyond a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support with personal care and health needs.
• Support individuals 1:1 or 2:1.
• Assist with meal prep, medication administration, and household tasks.
• Help people access community activities and maintain social connections.
• Promote dignity, independence and wellbeing in daily living.
