Job description

This is £26,280 per annum. (FTE is 40 hours per week, pro rata for part time)

As a growing charity, we are looking to expand our team of Support Workers to provide valuable and caring support to adults with learning disabilities. This particular role will provide support to a gentleman who has quadriplegic cerebral palsy, epilepsy, cortical blindness and learning difficulties, but he doesn’t let this hold him back. He is fun-loving, gentle, loves life and wakes up every morning with excitement and enthusiasm for the day.

Requirements:

• You are an experienced Support Worker
• You hold a full manual UK driving licence
• Shifts usually run from 7.30am-7.30pm, and 7.30pm-10pm plus sleep in, with a requirement for alternate weekends. Flexibility is key!
• A nurturing, supportive and patient approach
• Strong communication skills, being able to pick up on both verbal and non-verbal cues
