National Care Group is hiring a Support Worker to join Essential Care and Support Limited in Sunderland. The role includes assisting with daily living tasks, personal care, and supporting young adults with complex needs.

The position offers 30 working hours per week with waking nights and a salary of £12.71 per hour (£19,827.60 per year). You will be part of a team delivering person-centred care across supported living, outreach and day services.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and planning goals together.
• Help plan daily tasks and assist with cooking, cleaning and errands.
• Assist with personal care, including eating support and medication administration.
• Plan and participate in activities and days out.
• Support individuals to become more independent where possible.
