Job summary

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist a young female client with fluctuating mental health needs. The role involves personal care, daily tasks, and encouraging participation in activities to promote independence.

You will work full time with flexible shifts, earning £14.00 per hour. Applicants should have at least 6 months of care experience, a valid DBS, and the right to work in the UK. Vehicle ownership or commuting distance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care and supporting individuals with mental health needs.
• Must have access to a vehicle or be within a commutable distance.
• Right to work in the UK.
• DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is required.
• Up-to-date CV with full work history.
• Flexibility to work different shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, cooking, and light cleaning.
• Support independence and help service users develop life skills.
• Provide emotional support and build positive relationships.
• Assist with medication management where trained.
• Support service users to access community activities and appointments.
• Encourage and enable service users to achieve personal goals.
