Job summary

Disability North in Gateshead is seeking a compassionate support worker to assist a young client aged 18 who is autistic with severe learning difficulties. You will work 2:1 with another staff member, with some personal care occasionally. Pay is £14.04 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Accompany the client on activities outside the home, such as swimming, library visits, the local farm or play parks.
• You will work 2:1 with another staff member.
• A small amount of personal care may be required.
• Hours are 2 x 3 hours, varying on weekdays during school holidays.
