Job summary

Nurseplus UK Ltd is seeking a Support Worker to make a real difference in the lives of service users across various care settings. You will provide high-quality support, assist with personal care, mobility, meals and companionship, and work closely with care plans to promote independence.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and have the right to work in the UK.
• 6 months previous care experience in a social care setting.
• Flexible availability, with the ability to travel to different care settings.
• A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
• A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal care, safe lifting and moving, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and support in line with care plans to promote independence and dignity.
• Administer medications as directed and monitor basic health needs.
