Thera Trust is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in the Bovey Tracey area to assist adults with a learning disability. You will provide essential personal care, help develop daily living skills, and support residents with independence and community activities.

The role involves varied shifts including days, evenings, nights and sleep-ins; training is provided. You will work in a supportive team led by a learning-disability focused charity.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide essential personal care, including assisting wheelchair users.
• Full, nationally accredited training is provided free of charge.

Responsibilities

• Provide Essential Personal Care and Mobility Support, including confident assistance with wheelchair users.
• Deliver person-centred support for daily living, skills development, financial management and community engagement.
• Demonstrate emotional resilience and maintain a positive presence across varied shifts.
