Job summary

Dimensions is hiring a Support Worker in Haverhill to provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities and autism in supported living flats. The role is part-time, 30 hours per week, with shifts 7:00am-2:00pm and 2:00pm-9:00pm, and no sleep-in shifts.

You will help individuals gain independence, learn life skills, attend appointments, participate in activities, and build trusting relationships across eight flats with a flexible approach to meet needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in support work is welcomed but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and provide person-centred support.
• Reliable, proactive and able to adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Support people with learning disabilities and autistic adults in their flats on a 1:1 (and occasionally 2:1) basis.
• Help maintain independence, develop life skills and achieve personal goals.
• Attend medical appointments, enjoy activities, manage home tasks and stay connected with friends and family.
• Build positive relationships and tailor support across eight flats with flexible shifts.
