Overview

Female Support Worker


Pay rate: £14.50 per hour


Shift Pattern: 08:00 - 20:00; 20:00 - 08:00 (Sleep-In paid at £11.50 per hour)



Responsibilities


  • Provide 2:1 (sometimes 1:1) support, both at home and in the community — from meaningful activities to keeping their home comfortable.

  • Build trust through clear, respectful communication.

  • Support with household tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment that fosters comfort and independence.

  • Engage the individual in meaningful activities and take them out in the community to promote social interaction and well-being.

  • Support with engagement in activities aligned to the person’s preferences (e.g., shopping, social media, music) and help explore new places.



What will your shift involve?

In this role, you will be providing high-quality care on a 2:1 basis, ensuring that the individual you support receives compassionate and attentive care tailored to their specific needs. Your responsibilities will include engaging with them in meaningful activities and taking them out in the community to promote social interaction and well-being. Clear and confident communication in their preferred manner will be essential to building a strong and trusting relationship.

We work together in a wide variety of locations to support adults and children with complex care needs, and a range of both physical and mental disabilities.
