Radis Community Care has an opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team based in Portishead.

About the role

As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, you will primarily support the elderly who find it difficult to cope due to physical frailty, helping them maintain independence. Responsibilities include assisting residents with mobility to access dining areas, communal spaces, and their bedrooms upon request.

The role involves supporting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, and dressing. You will also have opportunities to engage in physical and mental stimulation activities, including recreational and social events, both individually and in groups.

The aim is to promote residents’ independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering the highest standards of care.
