Radis Community Care has an opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team based in Portishead.

Note: At this present time, we are unable to consider Sponsorship for this role.

About the role

As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, you will predominantly support elderly residents who are experiencing physical frailty, helping them maintain independence. Responsibilities include assisting residents with mobility, supporting them in communal areas, and respecting their privacy by helping them access their bedrooms upon request.

The role involves personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, and dressing. You will also engage residents in recreational and social activities to promote physical and mental stimulation, both individually and in groups.

The goal is to promote residents’ independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering high standards of care.
