Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking caring Support Workers in Holt to help people gain independence and participate in daily activities.

You will support personal care, life skills, and community access, working in a friendly residential service. A full UK driving licence is essential, and you will follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice to assist individuals with complex needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Be resilient, flexible and composed in approach.
• Experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
• Experience with individuals requiring enhanced support including distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and trauma.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain more independence in daily life within a dynamic team.
• Teach life skills and assist with personal care.
• Encourage access to local communities, socialising and activities.
• Occasionally accompany residents to local bars, cinema or activities.
• Support career growth and person-centred plans.
