Job summary

Turning Point UK is recruiting Support Workers in Ashington to help people with learning disabilities, autism and additional needs live fulfilled lives. You will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and arrange local community activities.

The role offers bespoke training, a supportive team and opportunities for development. A 24-hour service requires flexibility; full-time day and part-time positions are available with the potential for sleeps where needed.

Qualifications

• Confident communicator with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Promote independence and support daily activities (cleaning, cooking).
• Organise activities in the home and local community.
• Develop life skills and personal interests for tenants.
• Support with personal care where needed and assist with medication.
