Job summary

Keys Group is recruiting a Support Worker to provide day-to-day care and support for adults with complex needs at Pen Bryn, a residential home in Porth. You will assist with daily routines, personal care, activities, and health needs, while encouraging independence and participation in hobbies.

• No prior care experience required; full training, coaching and development offered.
• Ability to follow routines and support daily activities.
• Compassionate, reliable and patient approach to supporting adults.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Promoting independence while helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining health care needs, including accompanying to appointments or administering medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
• Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
