Job summary

Positive Futures in Lisburn is expanding its Supported Living Service and inviting you to join as a Support Worker. You'll help people with learning disabilities, brain injury or autism to live independently and have real choice and control in their lives.

No formal qualifications or experience are required—kindness, patience and a sense of fun are what matter. You'll learn on a full paid induction, support people with daily living, money and medication management, and help them stay

Qualifications

• Personal or work experience of providing care or support for someone
• Basic digital skills e.g. to record notes and use rota, HR or care systems
• Full, Valid UK/EU/EEA Driving Licence required

Responsibilities

• Form a positive relationship with the person you support while maintaining professional boundaries
• Help with home management, money and medication as independently as possible
• Assist with community activities and staying connected to important people
• Record keeping and using digital systems for incidents and risk assessments
• Advocate for the person and support their right to choose their own life
