Priory Westfield and Westfield House in Market Weighton are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The role involves helping adults with learning disabilities, autism or mental health needs to engage in meaningful activities and access the community, in a purpose-built residential setting.

You will support daily living activities, participate in activities, and provide personal care if required. Training and supervision are provided, with a strong emphasis on person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to upholding professional standards, policies, and procedures.
• Experience in care or support work (desirable, but training provided).

Responsabilités

• Provide person-centred support reflecting residents' wishes and needs.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, laundry, cleaning and personal care if required.
• Support residents to maintain independence and social inclusion.
• Attend supervision, team meetings and training sessions.
• Ensure good communication with managers and colleagues.
