Agincare Weymouth is recruiting support workers in Sileby, Leicestershire to help people with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health. You’ll provide person-centred support, encourage independence, and work as part of a caring team.

The role requires a minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence. We offer £12.90/hour, a pension, funded training, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Encourage involvement of individuals in community activities to promote independence.
• Assist with activities of daily living including personal care, routines, meals and budgeting.
• Communicate effectively using the individuals' preferred methods.
• Engage and motivate people to improve quality of life.
• Support people with positive behavioural approaches when needed.
• Record accurate information and report changes in health or circumstances to management.
• Work as part of a team and use initiative.
