Job summary

Codi Group is seeking two dedicated Support Workers to assist two individuals in a four-bedroom supported living setting in Maesycwmmer. The role requires flexibility for a two-week rolling rota, with days, evenings, weekends, and occasional sleep-ins.

A full UK manual driving licence is essential. You will work with one person with Down’s Syndrome and a second individual who is autistic, focusing on independence, routine, budgeting and community activities, while maintaining high-quality care

Qualifications

• Background with physical or mental health needs is helpful; training provided.
• IT, literacy and numeracy skills are required.
• Experience working in a team and delivering customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, structured routine while adapting support to each individual's needs.
• Safely manage and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Develop cooking, household and daily living skills to promote independence.
• Support access to medical appointments, local groups and community activities.
• Promote health and wellbeing through exercise and healthy eating.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to build trust.
• Encourage hobbies and personal growth and respect personal space and routines.
• Support budgeting and money management for independence.
• Complete accurate digital recording and documentation adhering to standards.
