Job summary

Custom Links Care Ltd is seeking caring and reliable Support Workers to join our Supported Living team in Southend-on-Sea. You will support two residents with learning disabilities in their own home, helping with daily routines, personal care and activities.

We offer flexible shifts, weekly pay, free uniform, ongoing training and a supportive team. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Empathy and patient, person-centred approach to support.
• Willingness to undertake training and DBS checks.
• Experience in social care or with learning disabilities is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living routines and personal care.
• Encourage independence, choice and decision-making.
• Help residents develop life skills and confidence.
• Assist with meal preparation and household tasks.
• Support access to education, community activities and social opportunities.
• Provide companionship, encouragement and emotional support.
• Assist residents to work toward individual goals and plans.
• Follow individual support plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
• Promote dignity, respect, privacy and inclusion.
