Job summary

Creative Support Ltd is seeking warm, reliable, and proactive Support Workers to join our friendly team in Manchester. You will provide 1:1 support for an individual with autism and a learning disability in various activities, including employment, volunteering, community engagement, and daily living tasks at home.

We offer a structured induction and values-led training to help staff grow from entry-level to leadership roles, with progression aligned to national strategies and the WE CARE

Qualifications

• 1:1 support for individuals with autism and learning disabilities.
• Structured induction and career progression through WE CARE framework.
• Full training provided and opportunities to work toward QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for an individual with autism and a learning disability across activities (employment, volunteering, community engagement, daily living tasks).
• Encourage engagement in social activities inside and outside the home and build warm, trusting relationships with service users and families.
• Support service users to enjoy their time, promote independence, and assist with daily living tasks.

Job description

Creative Support is seeking warm, reliable, and proactive Support Workers to join our friendly team in Manchester. We provide quality care and support for individuals with learning disabilities in a vibrant service where no two days are the same.

You will provide 1:1 support for an individual with autism and a learning disability in various activities, including employment, volunteering, community engagement, and daily living tasks at home. We are looking for someone with a great sense of humor who enjoys being part of an energetic team.

Your role will include encouraging engagement in exciting social activities both within and outside the home, and developing warm, trusting relationships with service users and their families, ensuring they enjoy their time to the fullest.

A clean and valid UK manual driving license is essential for this role.
