Job summary

Creative Support is seeking warm, reliable and proactive Support Workers to join our team in Manchester. We provide quality care for individuals with learning disabilities and autism, offering 1:1 support in daily living tasks, employment, volunteering and community activities.

A clean UK manual driving license is essential. We offer full training with progression opportunities within our WE CARE framework and development pathway.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for an individual with autism and a learning disability in activities including employment, volunteering, community engagement and daily living tasks at home.
• Encourage engagement in social activities inside and outside the home and develop warm, trusting relationships with service users and their families.

Creative Support is seeking warm, reliable, and proactive Support Workers to join our friendly team in Manchester. We provide quality care and support for individuals with learning disabilities in a vibrant service where no two days are the same.

You will provide 1:1 support for an individual with autism and a learning disability in various activities, including employment, volunteering, community engagement, and daily living tasks at home. We are looking for someone with a great sense of humor who enjoys being part of an energetic team.

Your role will include encouraging engagement in exciting social activities both within and outside the home, and developing warm, trusting relationships with service users and their families, ensuring they enjoy their time to the fullest.

A clean and valid UK manual driving license is essential for this role.

Creative Support’s Development Pathway offers a structured induction and values-led training to help staff grow from entry-level to leadership roles. It empowers career progression through tailored learning aligned with national strategies and the WE CARE framework.

Full training is provided, as is the opportunity to work towards QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
