Job summary

NORWA CARE is hiring for Support Workers in LN6 9AZ - Lincoln. We require 6 months paid care experience in learning disabilities, autism, or challenging behaviour, and the right to work in the UK.

Driving licence is preferred but not essential if you can travel up to an hour; a DBS on the update service is preferred and we can arrange one if needed. We offer permanent full-time or contracted hours, with great pay starting from £14.46 per hour including holiday pay and clear career progression

Qualifications

• 6 months paid care experience in learning disabilities, autism, or challenging behaviour.
• DBS on update service preferred; we can arrange a DBS if required.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not offered.
• Valid UK driving licence preferred but not essential if travel up to an hour.
• Experience with Moving and Handling and willingness to complete a course.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and support to individuals in Lincoln with learning disabilities or autism.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility as needed.
• Support continuity of staffing and shifts as part of the permanent/contracted hours.
